Dear Jerry--I just heard of the terrible loss of your wife. Please accept my personal sympathy as well as that of my family and my associates at the BBB. I recall only having met your wife one time and that was at one of the charity previews at the auto show several years ago. She was charming and made me fell comfortable talking to her even though it was only a brief conversation. May GOD grant her eternal rest and may HE provide you and your family with HIS graces to accept this loss with the realization that our life on earth is brief compared to the eternal time we will have in heaven.

I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Haggerty from my dad. She was a wonderful woman, with such an infectious laugh and a smile that always reached her eyes! When I think about growing up in Elmhurst, I remember your folks having a blast at IC football games and events. I also have great memories of walking around the neighborhood on warm summer evenings with my parents, often often stopping at the house on Kenmore, where your folks were usually sitting in front.

You all are in my family's prayers... I know what it's like to lose a mom, mentor and friend way too soon. God Bless.
