DARLINGTON " Juanita Thames Hatcher, 86, of Darlington died Friday, April 22, 2005.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2005, at 3 PM in the Darlington County Memory Gardens, conducted by the Reverend Allen Lynch and directed by Kistler- Hardee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hatcher was born in Clarendon County, a daughter of the late Henry and Edith Elizabeth Driggers Thames. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church for many, many years. Mrs. Hatcher was a former resident at the Indian Creek Apartments and enjoyed cooking, sewing, and traveling. She was predeceased by one son, Ronald L. Taylor and one brother, William Henry Buddy Thames.
Survivors include one son, David (Gloria)Taylor of Darlington, one daughter, Sybil (James) Dixon of Rock Hill, three sisters, Zula Bryant of West End, NC, Mable Patterson of Lexington, NC and Mary Cook of Petulama, California, 12 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 24, 2005 from 3 - 5 PM.
Memorials may be made to the First Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, 598 W. Broad St., Darlington, SC 29532.
