King, Joyce E. (nee Jacobson), 73, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Chicago, summer resident of South Haven, Mich. High school sweetheart, best friend and beloved wife of 49 years of the late S. (Sherwin) Larry King. Beloved mother of Larry (Linda) King of Long Beach, Calif., and Susan (Barry) Zweig of Scottsdale. Proud grandmother of Ryan and Jenna Zweig. Dear sister of the late Lenny (Carol) Ellman, the late Jerry Jacobson, and Eddie (Rose) Blumstein, Devoted sister-in-law of Sam and Tilda King of Kalamazoo, Mich. Loving aunt of David (Robin Yabroff) King of Washington, D.C., Andrea Rubenstein of Buffalo Grove, Ill., Leo (Terri) Ellman of Apple Valley, Minn., and the late Andrew King. Dear friend of many. Adoring human companion of Frankie Laine King. Joyce was a longtime popular teacher in Chicago, and recently, Joyce served as a docent at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art as well as an active supporter of the Heard Museum in Phoenix. Family and friends will gather at Paradise Gardens at 9300 E. Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, to remember the life of this outstanding woman.
