Joyce Delaney Obituary

Delaney, Joyce Marie (nee Braasch), 61 years old of Highland Lakes, NJ, died after a long illness at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Born to John and Jeanne Braasch in Evergreen Park, IL, she was raised there before moving to the Highland Lakes section of Vernon Twp., NJ 30 years ago. Mrs. Delaney worked as a secretary for the Insurance Company of America and Cigna for over 10 years before becoming a Medical Technician at Saint Clares Hospital in Sussex, NJ for the last 22 years. Mrs. Delaney was a parishioner and former CCD teacher at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Highland Lakes, NJ. She was a doting grandmother and enjoyed doing yard work. Mrs. Delaney was predeceased by her brother, Donald Braasch and is the wife of William Delaney of Highland Lakes, NJ. Mother of Jennifer Delaney and her fiancé, James Saccomondo of Highland Lakes, NJ and Frank Tillman of Vernon Twp., NJ; Grandmother of Makayla Delaney; Sister of Judy Wendel, Janice Trapp and Jack Braasch all of IL and sister-in-law of Cathy Braasch of IL; Cherished by many nieces and nephews. Visiting at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, Vernon, NJ on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 2-6 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Highland Lakes, NJ.
