Nikola, Josephine "Toots" Beloved wife of the late Frank N. Dear mother of Joseph and Nick (Dagmar), and the late John. Loving grandmother of Nick (Bethany), Laura (Ryan) Harris, and Kevin. Loving great-grandmother of Brianna Nikola Visitation at Herdegen-Brieske Funeral Home, 1356 W. Wellington Ave., 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday, 9:30 a.m. from chapel to St. Alphonsus Church. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Owner of the F & N Grocery store (Wolfram And Greenview). Employed 12 years by Cook County as a secretary for Department of Planning. Past President of South Lakeview Neighbors. Received Monsignor Quinn Award for Neighborhood Activist 1973. Active in the St. Alphonsus Boy Scouts for many years. Active in the 19th Police District Advisory Council 1980-1997. In lieu of flowers donations to Almost Home Foundation, P.O Box 308 Elk Grove Village, IL 60009-0308 will be appreciated. 773-525-0178.

Was sorry to read that your mom has moved on to her next life. I am sure she is missed as I remember her to be a most loving and warm person. Grateful for all the wonderful memories of our Scouting days in the early 60's at St. Al's. Jackie Price
