To the family of Joe Wojcik,

How quietly someone new comes in to your life as Joe did in to mine.

Joe was relocted to the Oak Brook Office at BlueCross and joined the area I was working in. Joe's dedication to his work and commitment to our company drew me to him instantly. He was a man of few words, but that was okay because Joe was with you and you knew it. He had no need to impress people by what he knew or what he had in his life. His smile coupled with his gentle nature let you know what he was thinking and feeling at all times.

Joe made me laugh and reminded me that your presence can be felt without being the center of attension or the loudest talker in the room, just being true to yourself and the people who you care about makes you a man among men.

Joe will always be thought of foundly by the staff at BlueCross, and for me I will quielty remember my friend Joe and all he taught me.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I worked with Joe for two years in Oak Brook. At first, we rarely spoke to each other because he was so quiet and focused. I thought he didn't know who I was until he said Hi and addressed me by first name. We communicated and joked regularly ever since. A very dedicated worker, Joe always came through for me. I have missed him and will miss him even more. GOD is happy to have him by HIS side.

To Joe's family, my wife Erica and I send our deepest condolences and prayers in this time of sorrow. I knew Joe when we worked downtown at Blue Cross and Blue Shield. When Joe and I both went to the Oak Brook office, my wife met him. Although a quiet person, he was a hard worker and very dependable. If you asked Joe to do something he would take care of it right away. That is something I miss and will always remember. I wish him peace and happiness now that he's been called home.
