Weiner, Joseph "Jerry" 76, beloved brother of the late Annette (Al) Doetsch; devoted son of the late Morris and Goldie; former husband of the late Helene Weiner; dear uncle of Sharyn Elman and Laura Kaplan and great-uncle of Alyssa and Zak; adored nephew of the late Sol Zaidenberg, cousin of Barbara Spielman and many more family members and friends. Graveside service Monday, 12 p.m., at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer Disease Assn, 4709 Golf Road, Suite 1015, Skokie, IL, 60076, or American Heart Assn, 208 S. LaSalle St, Suite #900, Chicago, IL, 60604. Our friend and Buddy is dearly missed by many,we are certain. He was always willing to listen (with his "good ear")to what you would have to say. Often time's, if you were down or had a problem, he would encourage you. We will miss his compassion,knowledge and wisdom.We will especially miss talking with him and listening to his storie's.
