Verdone Sr., Joseph T. Age 72, late of Sandwich, formerly of Lemont, Sunday, August 18, 2002 at Valley West Comm. Hospital, Sandwich. Born in Chicago, living in Lemont for 36 years before moving to Sandwich in 1999. Was an owner and operator for his own trucking company, retiring in 1992. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph, two brothers, Ray and Michael, survived by his wife Helen (nee Allind), his children, Joseph Jr. of Lockport, Margaret (Ken) Lundgren of Sandwich, Brian (Debbie) of Lockport, Cheerie (Bob) Barry of Wilmington and Kevin (Vicky) of Lockport, 14 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, his mother, Margaret Riley of Berwyn, two brothers, Edward of Berwyn and Richard (Shirley) of Las Vegas, NV. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
