Varco Sr., Joseph P. WWII Army Veteran, was employed by the City of Chicago for almost 50 years, and retired as Assistant Cheif Engineer of O'Hare Field. Loving father of Louis, Jac (Elizabeth) Varco, Angela (Roy) Bliley, Laura Lee (Nicola) Martinelli and the late Joseph P. Varco Jr., beloved son of the late Angelina (nee Giallombardo) and Phillip Varco, fond grandfather of Jeremiah, Justin, Joseph, Roy, Laura, Michelle, Nicky and Christie, dear brother of Concetta (Richard) Vacco, Ross Varco and Sarina Conmy, dear cousin of Andrew Catalano, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, fiance of Bonnie Dilillo, best pal of the late Carl DeStephano. Funeral Monday, 9:30 a.m., from Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, to Our Lady Mother of the Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
