VanDeman, Joseph L. 85, of Villa Park, beloved husband of the late Mary E., loving father of Michael, Patrick (Patricia), William (Gail) and Barbara VanDeman, dear grandfather of five, great-grandfather of one, fond brother of Francis (Arlene) and the late Mary Lourdes (Robert) Sims, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Life member of the Villa Park V.F.W. Post #2801, also member of K of C Council #10575 Wheaton. Funeral Mass Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church, 101 W. Loop, Wheaton. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Geneva. Visitation Monday, 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. For info., 630-832-4161 or www.steuerlefh.com.
