JOSEPH STEIN Obituary
On Saturday, June 8, 2013. Beloved husband of Myrna Silberman Stein; beloved father of Ilysa (Stephen) Parker of Anchorage, AK and Hood River, OR and Richard (Karen) Stein of Forest Hills; brother of the late Lenore Paul; brother-in-law of Dan (Betty) Silberman, Florence (Phil) Dunst and Doris (Richard) Miller; "Pop-Pop" of Tara and Chelsea Stein; also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Joseph was a graduate of Carnegie Tech in 1948. He was a former board member of the United Cerebral Palsy, Western Pennsylvania Wheelmen and a member of Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers. He was a founding member of Engineered Products Inc. (EPI). Mr. Stein was active in his college fraternity throughout the years and was instrumental in keeping everyone in touch with each other. Services at Temple Sinai, 5505 Forbes Avenue, Squirrel Hill on Monday at 2 p.m. Visitation at Temple one hour prior to services (1 - 2 p.m.). Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202 or American Parkinson's Disease Association, 490 E. North Ave., Suite 500, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Arrangements entrusted to RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you Myrna and Rick and Lisa. My father always loved how you keep in touch with him through the years and I enjoyed seeing both of you from time to time upon my return to Pittsburgh. Lisa and Rick - it has been a long time since we last saw each other. My condolences to you.
