Joseph Sloan Obituary

To the Sloan Family:

Even though I had not seen Joe in more than twenty years, I was brought to tears when I learned of Joe's passing this week. I have fond memories of playing sports with Joe and spending time at the family's Barrington home when I was in grade school. Joe was a special person raised by extraordinary people. I will never forget Joe.

Dear Sloan Family,
I went to high school with Joe and would see him periodically up at Marquette University when he would visit Chris. I will always remember his big smile and his awesome basketball talent. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I was a very good friend of Joe's at Barrington High School. I was a year ahead of him and was just back to celebrate our 20 year reunion when I was told of his passing. I am so sorry for your loss and even though I had not seen him in 20 years I thought of him often and was shocked and so saddened to hear of his passing. My prayers are with all of you.

I knew Joe from hoops at ULC...the last time I saw him, he and Maol were at NW hospital on his way to donate his kidney...this is how I remember Joe...keep the good memories during these tough times.
