Staff Sgt., WWII Army Vet, beloved husband of the late Julia (nee Hlavac), loving father of Joseph (Janet), Michael (Vicki), Thomas and Robert (Therese) Surprenant, dear grandfather of eight, great-grandfather of one, fond brother of Frances Kadevnik, Helen Maslowski and Tony Sitko, uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of Catholic War Veterans. Funeral services Wednesday, October 20th, 9:00 a.m. from the Sourek Manor Funeral Home, 5645 W. 35th St., Cicero, to Our Lady of Charity Church for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. 708-652-6661.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
