Joseph Gerard Scialabba, age 43, avid Sox fan, passed suddenly away on Sept. 20, 2022. Beloved husband of Cheryl, nee Mrzena. Loving father of Anthony, Joseph, Brooklyn and Gunner. Dearest son of Joseph and Patricia (nee Dunlop) Scialabba. Son-in-law of Guido Mrzena and Frances Barrett. Grandson of the late Gerard and the late Dorothy (nee Murphy) Dunlop, the late Joseph and the late Dorothy (nee Freeberg) Scialabba. Dear brother of Lauren (Dave) Michniak. Brother-in-law of Guido Mrzena, Dominic (Evelyna) Mrzena, Natalie Salinas, Kyle and Jeffrey Mrzena. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, Oct. 2, from 3 pm to 7 pm at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home and Crematorium, 7861 88 th Ave. Justice, IL Funeral Monday Oct. 3. Visitation 9 am until 10 am prayer service. Procession to begin from the Funeral Home to Most Holy Redeemer Church, 9525 S. Lawndale Ave., Evergreen Park for 11 am Mass. Cremation Private 708 496-0200.
