Joseph Ptacin Obituary

Hey Ptacin Family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your Dad. I was not aware he died until receiving the Christmas card from Mary Ginn. A candle has been lit in his name and memory. There are so many wonderful memories of our parents, hope they are sharing a cloud up in Heaven!

It's been a month since you died and I still miss you everyday. I'll never forget everything that you taught us about life and love. Have some peanut M&Ms for me. Love you.

DJ and I were very sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful father. Although we have not seen any of you since Mary Madeline wedding years ago, your family have and will always be in our prayers. We have very fond memories of the years we knew and laughter we shared with your parents at Loyola Academy.

To Mom and the Ptacin aunts and uncles,
Here is to playing king of the dock in Good Grief, watching Top Cat and playing bumper pool in the basement of Bordeaux, and dancing to the wee hours at the Misericordia Ball. We love you all so much and are thankful for all of the good memories we have of Terrific. Love,

I am so glad that you all were able to be together to say goodbye to your dad. We always enjoyed it when your dad and mom visited our family, as we knew our mom and dad would be having a wonderful time. It was so nice of Joe to come by to pay his respects to Wally. My thoughts are with you all.

I only knew Mr. Ptacin as a young boy growing up with his children in Rogers Park. I shared this thought with his son Phil today, and wish to share it with all. Mr. Ptacin had that wonderful gift; the rare combination of strength and authority, combined with kindness and a gentle nature. I know that he instilled those values in his children, which is a legacy they can all be very proud of.

We send our sympathies to the Ptacin family and thoughts of Joe from the years we spent together at Zenith.

This wonderful man, left us with many great memories, and a wonderful family. I feel like I could pray T0 Joseph, instead of for him. My sympathies and prayers for all the Ptacin's

And another era ends. My deepest condolences to all Joe's children and his entire glorious legacy. What a wonderful person! The memories return: Gentle and kind, but always ready for an energetic discussion! Madeleine and Joe are exactly where they belong--together forever.
