I was so shocked to see Joe's notice in the paper. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great person, as you well know. My prayers are with you all.

I first met Joe on an annual trip to Acapulco several years ago. It was always a pleasure being with him on those trips. We shared many good times on and off the golf course. I will remember his persistant smile and unique character. There will always be a hole on our future trips that could only be filled by his many contributions. You and Joe are in my thoughts and prayers.

Joe was a first class gentleman and a true friend who will be forever missed. The very thought of Joe Nolan brings a smile to the faces of all who knew him. He always had a smile when he greeted all of his friends at Beverly. Fellow members, employees, caddies we all loved him and will miss him very much.

I also caddied for Mr. Nolan quite a bit in my years at Beverly. You really could not have found a nicer man. He always had a kind word to say or a good story, but mostly he was just a pleasure to be around. He'll definitely be missed.
