Joseph Masier Obituary

Masier Jr., Joseph F. passed away peacefully on September 14, 2006, loving husband of the late Rosemary (nee Florek) and friend of the late Kathy Rekeitis, dear brother of Mary Wodka, Edward Masier, Irene Storako and the late Frank Hanek, Estelle Michal, Josephine Sadus, John Hanek, and Eleanor Fedorenko, fond brother-in-law of the Florek family, loving uncle of many. Mr. Masier worked at Sherwin Williams Paint for 43 years. He will be fondly remembered for his wonderful gift of singing and devotion to the Cubs and Notre Dame Football. Visitation was Saturday, September 16th, 8:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral 9:45 a.m., from Thornridge Funeral Home, (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave., four blks. North of 162nd St. (Rte. 6), Dolton/South Holland, to St. Jude the Apostle Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. 708-841-2300 or 708-460-2300

To Virginia and family,

I just found out about Joe's passing. I have so many fond memories of the years that he and Kathy were together.

Since moving, I have thought about Joe many times, and kept him in my prayers. He was a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed.
