Dear Hajduk family,

I am so sorry for the loss of Uncle Joe. I remember many times visiting him when I was little with Oma and he would talk to us for a while, make great food and be so welcoming. I miss seeing him at all of the New Years parties and his generosity. I know he was Opa's best friend. Even though I never met my Opa, I know something must have been very special about Uncle Joe if they had been such good friends for so long. They had a "one-of-a-kind" friendship. Oma always mentioned many memories between the Ckuj and Hajduk families and I used to love hearing them and visiting Uncle Joe with Oma. I know he is at peace now and with all of his loved ones and of course with God and Jesus. I know he led a good life and raised a wonderful family. He stayed strong until the end and his spirit will always be remembered! I am so sorry I could not be at the funeral and if it were not for being away at school, I would have been. I love the Hajduk family very much and I really want you to know you are all in my prayers. I hope to see you soon. Her are some words of encouragement from the Lord:

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the hornof my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalm 18:2

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.
Psalm 46:1-2

Anna and Nadia,

We can't be with you for the funeral and visitation but our thoughts are with you. Uncle Joe was a wonderful guy, a good friend to Tat, and to us Lawrins. We were all blessed to have him and your family so close to us.

Dear Hajduk Family:
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Although I will not be able to be with you during this time, I am thinking about you all and praying for you as well. I will always remember Joe's kindness and of course the wonderful New Year's Day feasts on Haussen Ct. He is with Maria now and at peace. He had a good life. Love to all, Maureen Nolimal
