Larry and I were fortunate to have had Joe and Pat visit with us in Hershey. They were with a tour group and stopped at our Hershey Chocolate World. His likeness to Joe Paterno was our clue to finding them that day! He impressed us as a great listener & kind gentleman. He & Pat were a special couple and We're so happy that our daughter is a part of such a wonderful family. Our condolences to all.
Most sincerely,
Sue & Larry George (Hershey, PA)

Joe was a wonderful colleague at CPS, especially during my first couple of years as a Principal. Please know that he was very highly regarded, both professionally and personally, and please accept my deepest sympathies.

Dear Aunt Pat and Family,
I'm sorry to hear of Uncle Joe's passing. I remember all the music he brought into the house during the holidays, allowing all us 'young ones' to play the piano, drum or sing along to his holiday tunes - it is definitely a memory that fills each holiday season for me.
We are sorry we cannot be with you during this difficult time, but know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you remember what a wonderful husband, father and person he was to all.
With much love,

Uncle Joe was the best uncle ever, as a child growing up, he was my father figure and I loved him very much. His life was full of people who cared about him. His mind was always searching for knowledge in everything he encountered. Cheers to him and a life well spent.
