Dear Lorraine & Family,
I really hope you remember us, we lived across the street at 6969, with our three children, Niki, Michael and Monika. My children, as we did, thought Joe and you were great neighbors to have, especially when I (Ann) locked us all out of our house when they were little and came for help to you, just to use your phone of course. My middle guy thought it was so great that someone of Joe's age was not only driving but also enjoying golf, which he also loves to play. We lived in the neighborhood for 19 years until we felt it necessary to move, but always think back on some of the wonderful neighbors we had.
We send you and yours our deepest heartfelt condolences. Joe and you were not only great neighbors, but also wonderful Christian people.
With admiration,
Donna Delisi-Thau

Dear, Sam & Sharon, Mary Jane & Jerry, Roselle & Aunt Lorraine,
I want you including extended family, to know that you are in my thoughts and in my prayers during this time of sadness. I am sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Dad. God must have needed someone special to fill his rose garden when he called him home.
This is how I choose to remember our Dear Uncle Joe. First and foremost he is one of the best storytellers, ever! He truly was the patriarch of the Delisi family. How blessed we are, to have had such a role model teaching us strong family values the Italian way, guiding us to follow in Grandma’s and Grandpa’s footprints through deep religious roots and leading us in the American way to open doors by showing us how a simple boy with good ethics and hard work would become a well known and respected successful business man deep in the heart of Chicago.
My prayer for our immence family is that God will give us strength and comfort during these days and the days to follow. As well as to find peace in knowing that he is born to eternal life and will forever be surrounded by family and friends.
Lovingly cousins, Ray, Donna & A.J.

Our deepest sympathies are with you! Greg has many fond memories of Mr. Delisi that he has shared with me. He was a wonderful man! Joe and Lorraine always looked so cute together! They were lucky to have each other. He was also a wonderful father and great entrepreneur!
