So I hope you are at peace with your Mom and Dad and my parents. It only took one year from your passing for Dad A. to greet you again. My poor Mom now she has you on one side and Dad on the other. Dad was missing his bride Dolores so much and you too. Dad would kiss his parents,in laws pictures, Mom and your picture before bed. I asked him you miss Mom and he said yes and I miss Joey. Dad told me no more surgerys. I told him he would die and he told me I'm dying a slow dealth now. It was so hard for me to let him go for I knew the man who always gave me unconditional love would not help me to get over the loss of you. Now the two most important men in my life are in heaven with my Mom and babies. I miss all of you but I have to Thank God for all the love you gave to me all my life. Everyone is hurting because you are not here. Your family is missing you so much and your friends. When we talked before you passed I told you not to worry about me. Who I worry about is Christina and Nicole. Today you baby Pastina is 30 years old. I try to make them feel special everyday but they miss their Daddy so much. Gabriella is my life line to you. She has given us so much love in our time of need. It really sucks with out you but as we all know life goes on until we meet again. Our love chain has been broken so many times in the last three years but I know one day we will connect the links once again. You have always been the love of my life and I know we will spend eternity together in heaven.

This is the 2nd time I am trying to write this message. I think Joey is playing tricks on me, since the 1st one disappeared into space.

I know things have been difficult for you all trying to keep up all the chores that Joey did around the house. Just to let you know, we think you all are doing a good job.

Joey has alway been the funniest person we have known. He always made you laugh, even when it wasn't funny. We will all miss him and his crazy jokes.

Jerry & Joey became closer every time Jerry took him to the Cancer Center. The nurses were always happy to be sitting around him, listening to his funny stories. I'm sure there will never be anyone like Joey there again. They would always say, "Here comes double trouble". Joey would tell the nurses to come over and they would talk dirty. Jerry said if he had to do this all over again, he would never hesitate. We all loved and will miss Joey.

Im so sorry for your loss. Joey touched so many people in so many ways. He was one of the most craziest guys I ever met. He made everyone laugh. Our family has many memories of Joey that will live on forever. He always put a smile on my Mom and Dads face. I'll never forget the time he walked in our house dressed like a priest for Halloween, how hard he made my dad laugh! Or the time when I was working in the drive up at the bank, Melrose Savings and Loan 32 years ago. Joey was driving the Mini Bus for Melrose Park and mooned all of us girls in the drive up window!! Joey dancing like John Travolta at the Galaxy Disco in Addison wearing his spify white suit!! Dancing at my brothers wedding wearing Renee's wedding veil hat. Watching him pull the wallet by chickie's store on a fishing line full of money from all the people that bent down to grab it coming out of mass after the Novena's during the feast week....All the skating memories at the rink....What a nut, I can go on and on.

I feel so lucky to have known him and having him as a friend for all my years of growing up. I'm most thankful that Joey and I had a long talk cause he wanted to make sure things were good between us. I'am most thankful and glad I was able to spend some time with him the last few years and that we were able to talk and laugh about old times. It was so nice when I had stopped by to see Gabriella for the first time...how he just loved to show her off. You could see in his eyes how much he adored her. He loved being a Grandpa!!

Thank you Jowee, for wanting me to sit with you when I stopped by so that you could tell me everything that was told to you and make things good between us. Donna and Rita came over tonight so that we could all watch your legacy video together that Johnny made in your honor and it was SPECTACULAR. You still have us laughing!!!!! Thank you for making it all good between us and leaving me with such happy memories. Your humor, love and sincerity will never be forgotten. Your legacy will live on forever!

A note to Donna & Joey...

I want to express to both of you what wonderful people you are and have been, both Gary and I feel very lucky to know you Donna and to have known Joey -- one of the craziest guys we ever met. While we have not spent as much recent time together our past holds tons of great memories, no card game will be the same without you Joey.

The support that we all got to watch you get Donna at the time of Joey's death was overwhelming and certainly a testimony to the people you are and have been. How wealthy you are in friendships and family ---- very special people who are loved and give tons of love to all.

Since the day I meet you I knew I would marry you. You have brought so much love and joy to our life. We had our ups and downs and our share of losing our children and loved ones and we got through it together. We did not have a perfect life but we supported each other no matter what happened. We were like a comedy show and we offset each other. We had so much love for each other and showed it in different ways. The greatest gift that we gave to each other was our love,laughter and our daughters. We always let each other be our selfs. Our pride and joy will always be our daughters Christina and Nicole and will be our legacy that will live on forever. Our granddaughter Gabriella is the completed circle to our family and has brought so much joy to both of us. I have to thank God for the many blessings he gave to us. God has taken you to a better place and you are no longer suffering. Heaven will never be the same once you are there. You will be forever in my heart and soul for you are what completed me in life. Your legacy lives on within your family and friends which are many in your short lived 58 years. Joey you were not perfect but you were perfect for me. 30 years of marriage and 7 years dating was a great honor for us for not many couples have that much love to last forever.
