I was saddened to learn of Joe's death and regret that I was unable to attend the visitation or funeral. Joe "adopted" me when I was a young administrator in District 130. He was genuinely concerned about me personally and about my professional growth. I could always expect a warm greeting and a nurturing approach. Joe was liked and respected by members of the administrative staff. He was a credit to his profession. I know that there are countless students and staff who owe a debt of gratitude to him for his efforts on their behalf--myself included. Please accept my sincere condolences.
