Dear Family, I just read this today and want to express my late, but sincere condolences. I am Sid Fisher's daughter Barbara. We spent some time together as kids. Your parents invited us to come and visit Aunt Goldie, Uncle Joe and Aunt Shirley as well, of course, my cousins. I have great memories of laughing at your house and wonderful meals. I think of you all and wish you the best.

I just found out about your dad. I was so happy that you had him for so many years,. I remember their surprise party when you dad just about fainted from the shock. We decided NO MORE surprises for Joe. I loved your parents and grandparents as well. We spend a lot of time together through all kind of challenges. Hugs to you all. Cousin Maureen.

In life we come across many people,.... most are forgotten.
Then there are those that you don't forget.
Joe was a rare gem of a man in a class by himself.
My deepest sympathy to the family for the world has lost a great man.
May his memory live on forever.

To the Berezin Family:
It was an honor and pleasure to have known Joe all these years as well as his wife Shirley. I always looked forward to his day of volunteering in my office (Service Excellence-EH)--He was a truly kind and giving man--but make no mistake-he cared about me enough to tell me when I was wrong. We laughed a lot and at times cried together. He taught me how to (properly) cook certain foods and (the only place) where to shop for special items. I think he would be proud how I mastered my "brisket"--I will miss you Joe and always remember you fondly--My deepest sympathy to all his family that he loved so much.

Our hearts and prayers are with you now and in the days ahead. We have wonderful memories of Shirley and Joe together in loving happiness and humor. Joe was deeply admired by my father Sol who respected his business sense and his hard work with the Boy Scouts. He was as good as they come.

Dear Cousins...
Your Father radiated warmth & goodness.I remember over 40 years ago how welcomed he made me feel when Jerry (of blessed memory) brought me to meet the family.I was immediately touched how he raved about all his children! Uncle Joe was a 'Mensch' in the true sense of the word. He will be missed but speaking of memories with him will forever keep alive.
xoxo's...
