Joseph Auskalnis Obituary
Joseph Auskalnis, age 84, Chicago native, US Air Force Veteran, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2021. Loving husband of 61 years to Maryann Auskalnis, nee Salvo; Beloved father to the late Toni Lynn (David) Leong and Joseph (Nina) Auskalnis; Cherished grandpa to Susannah, Nicole, Jonathan (Julie), Jake, and Luke; Recently becoming great-grandpa to Emma Lynn; Dear brother to Richard (Adela) Auskalnis; Special friend to Sadie and Annie. Visitation for Joseph will be from 3-8 PM on Thursday, September 16, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd, Oak Lawn. Funeral to begin at the Funeral Home on Friday, September 17, at 9:15 AM, processing to St. Catherine of Alexandria Church for a 10 AM Funeral Mass. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105, or to Misericordia, 6300 N Ridge, Chicago, IL 60660.
