Jose Chevere Obituary

Chevy has been with our Lord 10 years... its been 30 years since I saw him. His memory remains very much alive. He helped me through dark days and helped me be victorious in a battle. I remain most grateful to him still.

Condolences For the Chevere family especially Gloria.
Joey was an inspirational to all of us, in that he served in Navy, retired, then went on become an educator.
He will sorely missed by all that knew him as well as does he inspired.

My sincere condolences to Joe's Family & Friends. I knew Joe through Facebook. I am glad I added him as my Friend. :) He always had a good way of lifting my spirits when I was down. He also left his condolences when my Grandmother passed, when he didn't know her. THAT was the best to see. It shows he cares about everyone even if he didn't know them well. He was a great person. Joe, The Lord must have needed you up there, He took you too soon, but we will see you again some day. Until then...Rest Easy.

As a shipmate of "Chevy" I loved him and respected him. Facebook allowed me to reconnect with him and be friends again even though we were miles apart. Our love of motorcycles and more importantly, our riding with other Vets tied us together. Rest your oars Checy, you are with the Commander in Chief of all and we will meet again.

My long lost friend, who helped me through difficult days and proved to be a loyal and compassionate man. God rest your soul, we will meet again above

I feel so fortunate to have known Joe. He was a good man who left lasting memories and left a positive imprint upon this earth. He will be missed by many, including several of us in Washington State, where he fought the good fight for Human Rights. Goodbye for now my friend.
