Family-Placed Death Notice

Mrs. Johnnie M. Taylor of Decatur, GA, born on November 22, 1916, died Friday, November 7, 2003. She was a member of the Decatur First United Methodist Church. She was a founding member and very active in the Ret-Set at St. Timothy United Methodist Church. Mrs. Taylor was involved in the Avondale Women's Club and various other civic associations. She is survived by her daughters, Rita Haas and husband Mark, Fran Young and husband Jeff; grandsons, Keith and Tony Haas, Donald and Jeffrey Mitchell; great grandsons, Jackson and Jonathan Haas; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Ellynda Lipsey and Rev. Grafton Pressley officiating. Interment Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Those desiring may send contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 400 Perimeter Center Terrace, Suite 750, Atlanta, GA 30346. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
