To our dear Uncle John,
You are greatly missed. Your smiling face and loving heart will always be remembered. My earliest memories of you, from when I was a child, are of you playing with us and having such fun. We love you and miss you very much.

We absolutely loved 'big john' as he was known to all who knew him. He was a gracious and kind person, one of whom his family adored. We have known Johnny since 1976 and enjoyed every day we knew this kind and loveable man. He never told us he was a Korean war veteran. But that's John, always modest, served his country and the City of Chicago with quiet dignity. May be Blessed in Heaven and rest in peace.

John, you're my friend,
through good times
and bad
my friend,
my buddy,
through happy and sad,
beside me you stand,
beside me you walk,
you're there to listen,
you're there to talk,
with happiness,
with smiles,
with pain and tears,
you always been there,
throughout the years!
You have always been a beloved friend of mine
you will be sorely missed
I am blessed to have had you in my life.
I first met John about 35 years ago through a mutual friend. With a smile always on his face, a wonderful sense of humor and heart of gold, he quickly became a part of our family -- Sheri, Mom & Pop, Carol and Jim. We loved him and we will miss him.
With love to you John, Sheri
