John Wersching Obituary

Wersching, John 96, entered Eternal Rest on May 21, 2002. He was the beloved husband and best friend of the late Elizabeth (nee Focht) for 75 years, the loving father of Elizabeth (the late Nicholas) Weiss, Joan (John) Deppong and Marian (Joseph) Hollerbach, he was the devoted grandfather of 23, great grandfather of 54 and great-great grandfather of 13, he leaves many fond nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hollerbach Funeral Home, 4022-36 N. Elston Ave. (at Irving Park Rd.). A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Edward Catholic Church, 4350 W. Sunnyside on Saturday, at 10 a.m. Morning prayers and the final viewing will begin at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
