I just visited Chicago with my husband for dinner and a play last weekend. I remembered John and the times we spent talking, laughing and enjoying each other's company in the same restaurant we visited together. I wonder often - what advice would he give, what story would he tell, and what points would he make in debating an issue? I miss him.

I met John when I first started working retail security on Michigan Avenue in 1983. He and his partner Bob were entertaining at best and there certainly was never a dull moment. We kept in touch up until a few years ago, when my husband I and would make a date to meet John at Arlington Park. My sincere belated condolences to his family. John was a good man.

To the Waterloo family,
John was one of my best, and most loyal friends for over 40 years. Besides the CPD, golf, was our passion that we enjoyed in many travels to great destinations.
We know John was a true Christian, as he was thinking of Sunday mass as we finished up on the 18th green. I know he has already been welcomed to God's green pastures. And when you look into the skies tonight, you'll notice it a little brighter, as a new star has been added to the heavens above.
