Hard to believe its been fifteen years since you died. I miss you everyday. I know your looking down on us, especially when I make a ridiculous putt. You would be very proud of all your grandchildren. They miss you too.

Our condolences to Marge and the Walsh family. Because of the age difference, I tended to think of Jack as an uncle, my favorite uncle, rather than as a cousin. He was exceptionally nice to me (as was the whole Walsh family) when I visited Chicago back in the 70s, and probably had a hand in my marrying Diane.

Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your father. He was a great man. Your Dad was the Deputy Chief of Area 6 when I worked in 018 and I had the privilege of working for him on many details. I was impressed with your Dad's leadership skills and finess in delicate situations and saw him in action. If the confrontation became physical he wouldn't just give us orders but he would lead the charge. These qualities really impressed me. This good man will be missed.

special events. Without realizing it, Jack was a great

role model to follow on how to positively manage people.

I was so very saddened to hear of your loss. When my father died, it was my friends and my memories that were a comfort to me. I'm sure similar friends and thoughts will comfort you too.

mike, dennis and to all of the walsh family, i'm very saddened to hear of the passing of your father.i'm so grateful to have met him and spent time with him at the old style open. funny,last year during the raffle he sat with me and the mchughs and ed sobczak. i'm so sorry. he was loved by many and will be missed by all.ed sobczak is out of town, but i know he will be saddened to hear this news and i would like to say for eddie his thoughts and prayers will be with us all in remembering your dad.

Uncle Jack was a great man. He knew a lot about everything. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed by all who loved him.

We're so glad we got to see Jack again last summer at Pat and Abby's wedding. I'll always have great memories of the good times we had when Jack brought the family out to California while he attended Cal. He never did bust me for letting you guys "Raid the fridge."

Mardge, we were so shocked to get the bad news about Jack. Out hearts go out to you and your family. He was a great guy and a wonderful school mate. He will be missed by many.

I remember Mr. Walsh as being very kind to a young patrolman who interviewed with him regarding a position in the old SOG, back in 1980. My most sincere condolences to his family.

A respected man who will be missed by many, you are in my prayers.

my thoughts and prays go out to you aunt marge and the whole family,uncle jack was a very special person......he loved his golf, why not rename the family golf outing in his honor.

Jack was with me in my home in Naples, FL last Thursday morning. We talked about many of the same people we knew as policeman. Around noon he had to run to play a round of golf. Told me to give him a call to have a beer anytime at the American Legion Hall where we both members. That's the last time I saw Jack. I am shocked at his death as I truly came to like and admire him. He always had that Irish glint in his eye. I shall miss him and my heart goes out to his family. I shall remember him in my prayers.

You have my deepest sympathy on the death of your husband, father and grandfather. You will all be in my prayers.

Our hearts go out to Marge and her family. We shall miss Jack and his love of life, family and golf.
