John Vrba, Beloved Husband of Viola " Vi" . Loving father of Deborah Gurke, Tamra (Charles) Lee and Jacqueline (Larry)Larsen. Doting grandfather of Adam (Garbrila) Salas, Katharine (Jacob Fisher)Gurke, Savannah Lee and Victoria Lee. Great Grandfather of Emile. Dear uncle of Maryann and Bob Given. John was a proud member of Berwyn Eagles and Retired Eagles Activities Club ( REAC). Visitation is Thursday 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.(55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation on Friday at the funeral home from 8:30 AM until time of Celebration of Life Service at 10 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating blood and/or donate in John's memory to the American Red Cross, 2200 W. Harrison St. Chicago, IL 60612.
