Johnny, My younger brother for many years. I remember our last meet at your house for the Family barbecue last year. Shannon, I'll always cherish moments with you and John. I'll always remember in 1997 when the old man caught us throwing paint in the restaurant and he chased me and John all over the restaurant. I got away and he caught John and Angelo. It was funny what the old man did to them. That was how our life was in our teens. I will miss John, that gypsy want a be.

Deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend John. He and I went back together over forty years and were the closest of friends. Like a brother to me.
I pray that his soul be in the arms of Christ and I pray for strength for his dear wife Shannon and his entire family.
Brother, you will be greatly missed.

I was John's first grade teacher at Robert Fulton Elem. school. John was a very smart and exciting little boy and I loved being his teacher.
I am deeply saddened by his passing. I send my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

My condolences to the family, May God strengthen you as you go through this sad time. May you find hope in his (Gods) promise to one day restore life to those asleep in death. Take a look in Hosea 13:14 for some words of comfort. My deepest and sincere condolences to your families and friends.

My deepest sympathy to the Veliotis Family on the death of John Jr. I have never met Johnny O's son, but I know some of the family members. Growing up in Bridgeport, I still have strong feelings about some of my old friends.
