John 'Jack' M. Topor, age 70, beloved husband of Sylvia (nee Ceebin); dear step-father of Christine Shebelski, Nick Hilker and Peter (Jillian) Shebelski. Loving grandfather of Eleanor Shebelski, Morgan, Jake and Phoenix Hilker. Devoted brother of Jim (Joan) Topor and Suzanne (Wesley) Downing. Fond uncle of James and Jennifer Topor and Johnna Downing. Funeral Friday 8:45am from RICHARD J MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 12641 W. 143rd Street, Homer Glen to St. Michael Church, Mass 9:30am. Interment Private. Visitation Thursday 3pm to 8pm. John and I grew up in the same neighborhood and went to the same schools thru Brother Rice. We were even in kindergarten together but I couldn´t find that picture so I posted these grade school ones instead. I remember him always being in a good mood. I´m sad we didn´t stay in touch. My thoughts are with
his family.
