So sad to see this. I knew John and Terry and their 2 sons when they ran IGA market 55th and Damen early '60s when I was 13. I lived above the store. Such wonderful friends

Dear Bob,

I know this has been so tough on you and your family. Please know that he is now at peace and at a much better place than we could ever imagine. You have always been there for me and my family, now it's our turn. Please don't hesitate to call if you need anything. With all my love, Jen Muger

Bob, Thanks again for your thinking of me even through this most difficult of times. Lindsey and I are looking forward to visiting with you and Pat when we come in this weekend (Sunday). When my Dad passed away 4 1/2 years ago I grieved for months, and I still miss him today. I even left him a Christmas present (golf balls) the first Christmas after his passing, because, for some reason I just wanted to do this. I think about him probably every day, but that's okay. As the song, "Turn, Turn, Turn" goes, "to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under Heaven." (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) This is a very, very sad time of your life right now, but yet because of God's love, grace and mercy; a happy time for your Dad. You are more than a friend and more than a cousin to me. You are like a brother to me; and this is saying a lot, because I've always looked up to and respected my brother, Mike, and still do. Be assure I'm with you all in thoughts and prayers. Your Dad was a fine gentle man who loved you so much. Take care. Bruce

Dear Bob, I'm so sorry about your Dad, but I take comfort in believing he is with my Dad and Uncle George, enjoying that "better place" we all so desire someday. Your Dad's spirit is still alive and part of him lives inside of you right now. The good memories of him will live on and be with you forever. All he has taught you and his love for you has made you the man you are today, one of concern and compassion. I wanted to come in because you have cared so much about me through my tough times these past few years. But if I can show you how much you mean to me by honoring your wish, then that is what I want to do. Take care good buddy, and I will see you soon. God's peace be with you all. Bruce

Dear Bob, I am so sorry about the loss of your father. I strongly suggested to Bruce that he should go to Chicago yesterday but he said, you said no. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you! God's peace to you, Lindsey
