John Stapay Obituary
John Stapay, of Naperville, IL, died January 26, 2023. John worked for the United Steelworker's Union (AFL-CIO) for many years and was dedicated to worker's rights. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary Stapay; his beloved wife, Rosemary A. Stapay (nee Kelecich); and his siblings, Stephen (Marian) Stapay, Lillian (Felix) Eudakis, and Marian (Carl) Basse. John is survived by his children, Linda (Steven) Covey, Rose DeRossi, James (Karen) Stapay, and John (Cindy Jeske) Stapay; as well as his grandchildren, Felix Covey, Laura Covey, Amy DeRossi, Sarah DeRossi, Kristen Stapay, and Michael Stapay. Private funeral and committal services will be held. Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Naperville, was entrusted with arrangements.
