My most heartfelt condolences go out to all of John's family and friends. He was one of the first friends I ever made at Kelly High School back in the1960s in Mrs. Oliver's music class.
We were out of touch since high school but got "reunited" via Facebook a few years ago.
I was hoping to meet up with him in person sometime but now that will never happen. All I have are memories from fifty-plus years ago and I will continue to treasure them for the rest of my life.
He is a truly great guy who will be sorely missed.
