Simpson, John A. Age 66, passed away December 3, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Janet (nee MacRitchie); loving father of Tony Simpson, Tracy (Jim) Rizzo and Nick (Berenice) Simpson; cherished grandfather of Sarah, Jimmy, Ashley, Zak, Tony Jr., Nicky, Jake, Zoe, Sophia and the late Jennifer; great-grandpa of Savanna; dearest brother of Kathy (the late Glenn) Martin, Char (Wally) Weyer and Greg Simpson; fond uncle of many; dear cousin and friend to all. Funeral Monday, December 8th, 10:15 a.m. from the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Forest to St. Damian Church, Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. For information: 708-687-2990.

So sorry to hear of Jacks passing. He and my late husband Bob were friends since they were in their teens.I first met Jack when I was 16. He truly was one of the good ones. My deepest sympathies to your whole family. Thanks Tony for writing to me.

Dear Tony, Tracy, Nick, Kathy, Char and Greg...Words can't express what we are all feeling,,,such a sad time,just want you to all know my prayers and thoughts are with you and all siblings, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids....so glad I was able to spend time with Jack and Greg at our reunion,,We had a great time...he will be greatly missed by all.Now he is with Janet, Auntie Irene, and Grandma He will be watching over all....Love Cousin Georgene

Doc, from all thee People in the Marshalling Yard we will miss you. You were a great guy to work with and everyone respected you. We had some good laughs ! My deepest condolences to your family. I know you will be greatly missed. Good luck up in Heaven Doc. I hope you get to drive that souped up Impala, and eat all the Freddy's roast beef sandwiches you want!
