John Schaller Obituary

Still remembering the fun and laughter shared with my friend Jack. I´m sure many others remember him in the same way. Condolences to his family and live happy lives as he would want you to do.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Samantha babysat our children for many years. She always talked so fondly of her dad. Please accept our sympathy.

"Uncle Jack" will be sorely missed by all of us. He was godfather to my daughter and they shared a special bond that she has with no other.
I will always remember his wonderful smiling eyes and sense of humor. Wherever Jack was there was happiness and laughter and a feeling of warmth and caring.I feel honored to have had him and all of you as a part of our family for so many years. Know that all of you will continue to be in my prayers.

I knew Jack when he worked for the Grundy County States Attorney's Office. I was an investigator for DCFS and had cases that went through his office. He was very easy to deal with and a lot of fun to talk to. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. May God bless your family during this time.

I haven't seen Jack since my time at Gompers. He was always a bright spot. While I know there are no words that can help, I read something last night that may extend some comfort. "What the caterpillar calls the end of life, the Master calls the butterfly." We will be praying for comfort that only God can give.

Mr. Schaller was my 6th grade LA teacher at Gompers. I have always remebered the engery he taught with. May he rest in peace and the family be comforted by his well lived life.

Jack, I have never known you personally. However, you are my Bridget's uncle and Godfather. As a Godmother myself, I understand the special bond between Godparent and 'child. Having never known my own, I also understand the pain that can come from that absence. I understand that Bridget is hurting right now, but the bond that you two shared during your time here can never be erased. In fact, Bridget now has an extra special angel watching over her from Heaven. I wish you a very peacful eternal life and send my condolences to your loved ones. R.I.P.

To know Jack was to love him with his smiling eyes and gentle heart. Jack has left a legacy and the one he is the most proud of and that could always bring him to tears was his family. Jack's pride and joy was you Melissa the love of his life and Sam, Brad and Jack the pride he had for you all will last a lifetime. We are privledged to call him our friend.

Jack will be missed. I enjoyed our days at Gompers, time on the links and one or two parties we attended. My prayers are with Melissa and the family.
