I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Mr. Sandner. He was so gracious and friendly to the staff at The Morris Inn at Notre Dame when I worked there for many years. He never failed to go out of his way to shake one's hand and give a warm greeting. He accomplished so many great things in life, but most importantly, he treated his fellowmen with respect and kindness. The angels in heaven will be welcoming him with open arms.

I'd like to thank express my gratitude towards Jack - I met him back in 1995 when I was a nobody in the industry and he was kind enough to spend time with me and even talk to some of my clients (from Mexico) back then. He was and always will be, along with luminaries like Leo, the very best this industry had to offer in a time when this industry was going through a major transition. We will miss him. RIP Jack, hope you're trading 'em in the big pit in the sky!
