PHYLLIS TESSMER

DEAR FRAN AND THE RUBINO FAMILY:
I GUESS I KNEW ON THAT MONDAY THAT IT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME I WOULD SEE HIM ON GOD'S GOOD EARTH.
IT WAS DIFFICULT TO LEAVE HERE ON THAT THURSDAY, KNOWING THE INEVITABLE. I MAY HAVE BEEN FAR AWAY, BUT, I SHARED YOUR GRIEF. THEY SAY GOD ONLY GIVES US WHAT HE THINKS WE CAN HANDLE, I SAY ENOUGH. JOHN WAS A HANDSOME MAN WHO LIT UP A ROOM BY HIS PRESENCE. MY PARENTS HAD GREAT RESPECT AND LOVE FOR HIM, AND MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES. I AM GLAD MY DAD WAS NOT AROUND FOR THIS ONE, IT WOULD HAVE HURT TOO MUCH. WE LOVE YOU ALL, PHYLLIS AND CLIFF TESSMER

To the Rubino family,
We are so truly sorry for your loss. He was a great man, husband, father and Grandfather. He was also a wonderful friend to all who knew him. My family is grateful that we had the pleasure to know John and his beautiful smile and kind heart. We will miss him very much.
Love, Clara, Francesca and Steve Verbena, Guy, Maria D'Oronzo and Mariella, Michelangelo, Gaetano, and Joey

Dearest Fran, and all the rest of the Family, what can I say except I feel your pain and know deeply what you all must be feeling right now. We too share in your grief. We loved John dearly so that is why we must be happy for him. His suffering is over. He is where he should be and I know that he is very happy there and waits for the day to see all of you again. I know that Dad must be so happy to have his buddy up there with him. I know that they are all together, those that have passed in John's family and those that have passed in our family, Mary, Jerry, Uncle Ralph, MOM (lauretta) Nino, Aunt Grace and Uncle Vito and MY DAD,of course. They died six months apart but now they will be together forever. I don't know about you but when I think of it that way, I feel good inside. So please accept our deepest sympathy. Believe me when I say that the hurt will get a little less each day. However the loving memories will become stronger and stronger and the LOVE WILL NEVER DIE. Our love to each of you,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always,
Love Cookie,
PS> Peter is not good at giving condelences but he also sends his as does Joseph and MOM> Love you guys XOXOXO
Cookie.
