Diane and family,

My deep condolences for your loss of John. He was a great man and I will always remember him as such. I worked with John for many years at Borg-Warner and we became best friends. Love and strength to all of you.

Diane,
I just was made aware of John's passing and on behalf of the Austin High School 50's Alumni Committee I want to convey our deepest condolences to you and the family. Although my relationship with John may not have been as long as others in the few years we worked together on the committee and I got to know how great guy he really was. His professional expertise was invaluable in planning our reunions and other activities over the years. At many of our committee meetings I always looked to John for his wise counsel and advise on many decisions we made. I know these past few years have been difficult for you and the family, and at the last few meetings when you so graciously brought John to the meetings, he was always positive and I knew these were difficult times for both he and you. I was personally thrilled when he told us of your trip to Ireland. He said he would make it and he did. May his memory be a blessing to you and the family forever and may the fact that there are so many of his friends who are thinking and praying for you at this time be a comfort to you and the family during this stressful period.
