June 22, 2011 was one of the sadest days for our family. Some of us lost a father, brother, uncle, papa, or in my aunts case a best friend. I have many great memories of my uncle that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I love you Uncle John..Forever and Always...Love, Trisha

my earliest memory of john was back in byrnes-wagner little league.i was playing 3rd base and he hit a ball so hard, which i was lucky enough to catch,my hand stung the rest of the game.so one of my fondest memories playing little league was catching a liner hit by john quinn.which im sure he forgot about it the next day.i bumped into john a couple of summers ago at jewel and we were both suprised that, after about 30yrs i recognized him and im glad i did.i know as a teenager everyone seemed to like john.im sure he was a good family man and friend to many.GOD BLESS

I've known johnny since we started forestry together. Which is longer then I've been married. He was a family man and somewhat private person. But he would open up to a few people and I am thankful to be one of them . A stand up guy and a tree man in his day. We talk fishing for hours after retiring and I thought I knew a lot about fishing. All I can say is god now has a new fishing partner. Rest in peace Johnny ! Missed but never forgotten
