John Macy Obituary

John P. Macy, 87, of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, an assistant manager for many years at Ware, Pratt and Cole Department Store before his retirement in 1982, died at his home on Wednesday, July 31, 2002, following an illness. Calling hours are scheduled for Saturday, August 3, 2002, 9-10:15 a.m., at Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, 9:30 a.m., at the funeral home, officiated by Adelphi Council. Mass will be offered on Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial donations are appreciated to St. Mary's Building Fund, 20 Summer Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545 or Calvary Monastery, 59 South Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545. Arrangements entrusted to Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
