John Luburich Obituary

Luburich, John aka "Johnnyslot718" lost his fight with cancer and passed away October 4, 2016 with his family by his side. Loving husband (and "rock") to the late Betty (nee DeVoney); best Dad ever to the late Stevie and King; loving daughters; Pam and Desiree; and buddy, Bacio; baby brother to Sam; in-law and uncle to many; longtime friend and partner-in-crime to Billy Hernandez and William Nunez; "Dad" to our friends. Lane Tech Class of 1948, USMC Korean War Veteran, member of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Local 21 (50 years) and American Legion Post EP 541. He loved to travel and gamble, and we will happily continue that legacy. Go White Sox, Blackhawks, Bears, Bulls (ok Mom, Go Cubs!) SEMPER FI DADDY A life celebration will be held on Sunday afternoon, October 23rd from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Amici Restaurant, 7620 N. Milwaukee, Niles, IL.

I will miss John terribly.
He's the father of my BFF and I've known him ovet 50 years and enjoyed his company and laughter every time I saw him.
He was a wonderful man and like a second father to me.
