Dear Rita,



I am so sorry to hear about John. Although I never met him, you always told great stories about him. I felt like I knew him. I can only hope to raise my son as well as you have raised your two sons. He had to know he was truly loved! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I've known John since freshman year at schaumburg high. I loved him so much, He was an amazing friend and always knew how to make me smile. I will miss him so much. To his family, my prayers are with you, just remember you'll see him again soon.

I don't know what to say, but you are in my thoughts and prayers. I did not know John personally only through the stories you told while doing my hair. You are a wonderful person and mother and God will carry you through your difficult times. You truly took your gift from God (John) and gave him a good life. I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out this evening (9/5) and I don't have words to describe how awful I feel for you. I know how close your family is. I know that John has found his way already into God's house in heaven. I will continue to pray for John Jr., you and your family as you need all the thoughts and prayers you can get now. God will help you find the strength to go on and get back on your feet (eventually) through your family and through others. I will always be there if you need a friend to hold you up. Rita, Kevin and John will need you now more than ever. Please be strong and let God help you repair as much of your heart as can be repaired over time. I heard about your loss through my daughter who also is a sophomore at Butler University and a 2001 graduate of Hoffman Estates High School. Although I did not know John personally, my heart goes out to you and your family. You all will be in our prayers. Take care and God bless.

I am very sorry for your loss. I was not very close with John, but I knew him through my sister. One of the things that I remember of him is his consideration for others and his warm smile. Your family and John are in my prayers.

To the family of John, a very fine young man. I worked at St. Alexius and saw the many times he transported patients to their destinations. He always smiled and talked with the patients. I will miss his kindness, his respectful ways of talking to people older than him. To the parents my heart goes out to you, since I have a daughter away at school, May God Bless you Always, may he make every coming day a blessing with much healing. You brought a wonderful young man to this world and I appreciate that he came thru my path.

I remember the 1st time I met John. All I knew was he was Tommy's cousin at a family party. And Tommy introduced me to him and we just picked on each other just joking around and it was so fun. He was so nice and cool and fun. We'll miss you buddy. To the Kreslin and Fischer family...hang in there and I'm praying for you.

I will always remember you. All the great times and great laughs we had at Frost. I will remember all of the times at Manny's. I went to highschool with John, and I also worked with John at St.Alexius. He was a smart, nice guy with a smile on his face almost all the time. John and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Johnnie, there's part of me that feels as if I knew you. I watched you grow up through pictures your mom would have of both you and Kevin, and your dad, at her work. She and your dad love both you and Kevin so very dearly. God bless all of you.

Its the Frost 8th grade trip to St. Louis and John and I are sitting on the top deck of the riverboat McDonalds: He's just sat down with his giant cheeseburger when the teacher tells us we have to board the bus NOW. So John frantically shoves the entire thing in his mouth. It was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen, and I guess you'd have to have been there. John, you were a big part of my life in those years, and I've never forgotten you. There were so many inside jokes, so much we all took away with us from that trip. Your sense of humor and your attitude towards life were incredible and will always be missed. My friends and I still talk about that trip and those years. You will be in my heart and thoughts always.

Everytime I saw John, he had a smile on his face that lit up the room. It is horrible that his life was taken at such an early age. He will forever be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of John. I was a classmate of his and I will always remember him as a caring, happy guy with a smile on his face. I know he is up in Heaven watching down on all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and always!

I was so sad to hear of this horrible loss. John was a great person and treated all people with a kind of friendship and kindness that is rarely seen. He and his family will be in my prayers.

There are so many things to say I don't know where to begin. Like a couple of us, I will always remember our trip to St. Louis in 8th grade. I still have pictures of you and everyone from that trip . .what a laugh! I know we only dated for a very short time, but you were always a great guy! I wish I would have been able to stay in better touch with you over these years. You will always be in my heart John! My prayers and love are with you always and forever!
