Hennessy, John Joseph of Wilmette, beloved husband of Betty Ann Hennessy (nee Redding), loving father of Megan Eggert, the late Thomas and John Hennessy, loving father-in-law of George Eggert, cherished grandfather of Sloane Elizabeth and Brynn Marie Eggert, fond brother of Edward, James and the late Thomas Hennessy, devoted uncle to 13 nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, 9 a.m., from Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at old Orchard Rd., Skokie, to St. Francis Xavier Church, 9th St. and Linden Ave., Wilmette, Mass 10 a. m. Betty, words cannot express how I feel about John's passing. I wish I would have known sooner, but just found out tonight (1/3/07). I hope John and John are together talking about the Navy and the good times. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

So very sorry to have lost one of my very favorite people. Betty and Megan you are forever in our thoughts and prayers and I treasure what little time I had with John who was, and is, the best of the best.
