John Heeter Obituary

Heeter, John T. "Luke" Age 71, of Burlington, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. John was born in Chicago, IL, on November 15, 1940 to the late James and Anna (nee Fox) Heeter. He spent his early life and received his education in Chicago. On December 22, 1967 in Chicago, John was united in marriage to Carolyn Dahl. They have been residents of both Burlington and Naples, FL for the past 43 years. John worked with the Local 17 out of Chicago as a Pipe Coverer. He was also a member of the Pipe Coverers Union and Saphire Lakes in Naples, FL. Survivors include his loving wife, Carol; children, Jack (Michelle) Heeter, Doreen Heeter, Keneth Heeter, Kelly Heeter, Thomas Heeter and Timothy (Holly) Heeter; grandchildren, John, Dylan, Kacie, Quinn, Rylee, Joy and Taryn Heeter, siblings; William Heeter and Alice (Don) Walsh; sister-in-law, Judy Heeter; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Heeter and a sister, Elizabeth (Thomas) Wallace. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 5:00 PM at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Williams officiating. A gathering will be held prior to the service on Saturday, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. The family would like to express a special thank you to Aurora VNA Hospice and Dr. Syed Haider and his staff.
