I am sorry to hear of John's passing. The times he asked me to play catch during one of his business trips to Louisville might have been a small moment in his day, but they created memories that I still recall fondly. I am glad I had the opportunity to meet him.

Just one of the happy memories in my heart

Dear Betsy and family,
My heart aches with the sad news I read this morning. The only thing that helps is the fond memories of those special trips and short visits with you and John. John's great laugh and great smile always lite up the conversations.
We must remember that there is nothing greater than peace in the hands of the Lord. God's peace to you and all the family
Love, your friend Barbara Zwischenberger

Nancy and I were saddened to learn of John's death. He endured a long trial before his passing but with dignity and strong faith John continued to demonstrate qualities which should serve well for his children and grandchildren. Our prayers are with the Finzer family. God bless!!

To all of the Finzer’s - We're glad to have had so many fond memories of Mr. Finzer these past 34+ years, many of them occurring at your warm and inviting home on Ramona Road. His kindhearted and engaging personality always made us feel both welcome and important in his life. What a great legacy that lives on today in his wonderful family. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers during this challenging time and as you continue to celebrate the life of not only a great man, but a great example as well. May God continue to bless all of you with many wonderful memories of this great man.

Glorya and I were deeply saddened to learn of John's death. His life to those who knew him here at the Forest was a model to us all for his warmth, generosity, goodwill and intelligence. One knew instinctively that he was the type of person who would always reach out to help those in need. A donation in his name to the Sr. Paulanne's Needy Family Fund will be made in his name from all his friends at the 3-D Golf Group.
