I am a Chicago Homicide detective and worked at Area One the same time John was assigned there. I remember many humorous incidents between John and Old Sgt. Fitz. They were quite a comical duo. The members of the old Area Homicide that know John send their deepest condolences.To his family and friends we express our sympathy.

I worked at Area One Youth Division which was across the hall from the Detective Division from 1966 to 1981 and new Det Ferguson. I am sorry for you loss.
