Dunleavy, John A. age 81, U.S. Army Vet. WWII, beloved husband of the late Lorraine (nee Whalen), devoted father of John and Daniel (Laura) Dunleavy, loving grandfather of Danny and Anthony, dear brother of the late Catherine Steffans, Margaret Nivison and Francis Dunleavy, grandpa John to many friends and extended family. Visitation Thursday, August 26th, 3 to 9 p.m., at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home/Gamboney & Son Directors, 17W201 Roosevelt Rd., (just West of Rte. 83, on Cemetery Grounds), Oakbrook Terrace. Funeral Friday, 8:45 a.m., at the funeral home to Our Lady of Peace Church, Darien, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Info: 630-941-5860
